ITI Basohli Kathua Engagement of Guest Faculty in Govt. ITI Basohli for the Academic Session 2021-22. Applications on plain paper are invited from the interested candidates for engagement of Guest Faculty in Govt. ITI, Basohli for conducting classes during the session 2021-21 in the following trade(s) on the basis of Prescribed qualification mentioned against the trade.

Interested candidates will submit the applications to this Office during working hours on the prescribed format forming annexure “A” to this advertisement notice upto seven days from the date of publication of this notice.

The selection of the candidate will be done strictly on the basis of merit, higher relevant qualification and experience as per guidelines set by Director Skill Development Department J&K from time to time The duly completed Application Form in the prescribed format must be accompanied with the self attested copies of the fol­lowing certificates/documents Academic/Technical Qualification Certificate/Marks Certificate. O.B Certificate. Aadhar Card. Experience certificate, if any. Domicile Certificate. Registeration as Artisan with State /central Department for Basohli Shawl Weaving (Practical Trainer) The Engagement of Guest faculty will be for the Academic session 2021-22 only on need basis. The assignment of the engagee shall be terminated without any prior notice whenever the undersigned desires/due to non-performance by the engagee /if regular appointments/ transfers are made by the Department/ otherwise. 

The undersigned reserves the right to reject any application/candidature of candidate or advertisement without assigning any reason thereof. The candidates engaged shall have to maintain proper discipline and punctuality and shall have to work to the entire satis­faction of the students as well as the Superintendent. Indiscipline of any kind will entail disengagement. The engaged candidate shall have to execute an agreement with the Department on the prescribed format duly attested by the First class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that they shall have no claim for permanent absorption in the department on the sole ground of their engagement as Guest Faculty for the specific period.

1. Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (English) - B.Voc/Degree in Commerce / Arts (with Short-hand & Typing) from a UGC recognized university with one year experience in the relevant field.
2. Diploma (Minimum 2 years) in Commercial Practice from recognised board OR Relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) with two years’ experience in the relevant field. OR NTC/ NAC passed in the trade of Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (English) with three years experience in the relevant field. Essential Qualification: Relevant National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in any of the variants under DGT.
3. Guest Faculty Basohli Shawl Weaving (Theory) - 10th and above with 03 years diploma in Handloom Technology
4. Guest Faculty Basohli Shawl Weaving (Practical Trainer) - Matric Pass with 05 years experience as Artisan in concerned trade, Registered with State /Central Department as Artisan.
5. Electrician (Normal) - B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized Engineering College/ university with one-year experience in the relevant field. OR 03 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AlCTE/recognized board of technical education or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two years experience in the relevant field. OR NTC/NAC passed in the trade of “Electrician” with three years experience in the relevant field. Essential Qualification: Relevant National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in any of the variants under DGT.
6. Electrician (Self Finance) - B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized Engineering College/ university with one-year experience in the relevant field. OR 03 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AlCTE/recognized board of technical education or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two years’ experience in the relevant field.
