 On 7th day of Poonch encounter: Police detain three persons including mother and son, suspect help of terrorists

A 45-year-old woman and her son, a resident of Bhatadudiyan, along with a man, have been detained for questioning on suspicion of providing logistics to terrorists. Police say the trio volunteered or provided food and shelter to the militants at gunpoint, an investigation is continuing.

Today is the seventh day of the ongoing operation against terrorists in the forests of Poonch and Rajori in Jammu division. Nine jawans including two JCOs were killed in an encounter with terrorists at two different places. Three persons including a woman and her son have been taken into custody during an ongoing search operation in the forest area on Sunday. All are being questioned.
