In Baramulla, security forces have foiled a major terror plot. According to reports, security forces found improvised explosive device (IED) in passenger shed area near Saidpora village in Rafiabad in Baramulla district on Thursday morning. After which the security forces informed the bomb disposal squad. Jammu and Kashmir police said that the bomb disposal squad reached the spot as soon as they received information. After which the team has deactivated the IED after conducting an inquiry. Search operation is on in the area by security forces. A major attack has been averted due to vigilance of security forces. According to reports, more IED bombs are feared to be planted in the area by the militants and search operation is on.
The terror outfits are planning to install IED bombs on roads and highways to target security forces vehicles in Kashmir. However, search operations are continuing on roads and sensitive areas by all security agencies and patrolling teams. According to sources, terror outfits are planning a major terror attack in the Valley. Last Wednesday evening, security forces killed two terrorists, including Lashkar-e-Taiba district commander Gulzar Reshi, who were involved in the killing of two labourers in Kulgam.
In Uttarakhand, unseasonal clouds lashed Kumaon on Monday and Tuesday. 37 people died due to landslides, house collapses, current running in water etc. Nainital had the highest number of 27 deaths on Tuesday, six in Almora and one each in Champawat, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and UdhamSingh Nagar. At present, the death toll in government claims has been reported as 22. The death toll in the state has reached 43 in two days of rain. Nine have been reported missing. Meanwhile, no casualty was reported in Garhwal on Tuesday. Three people lost their lives here on Monday. The highest number of 27 people have died in Nainital district due to devastating rains. Five of them were killed in Doshapani Mukteshwar, six in Chaukhuta, nine in Sakuna, two in Bohrakot, one in Chaupada, one in Bhimtal, two in Kanchi Bhawali, one in Ramgarh. In Almora district, six people were buried in debris at different places. In Almora district, three of the six people were from the same family in Village Rapd in Bhikiasan area.

In Champawat, one person was killed in a landslide at Telwar. Two people are missing. One person has also died in Pithoragarh district. In Rudrapur (UdhamSingh Nagar), the daughter-in-law of Rampur MLA Kamlesh Shukla died of electrocution during rain. Meanwhile, the body of a farmer has been recovered in Bajpur on Monday.
National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has once again suffered a major setback. The official said officials and jawans have been instructed to increase patrolling in the evening in the areas where migrant labourers are staying. The areas where mobile internet facilities were affected include 9 areas in downtown Srinagar district, 2 in Kulgam district of south Kashmir and one in Pulwama district. According to sources, mobile internet facility was temporarily suspended in these areas due to some operation by security forces. In Jammu and Kashmir, all security agencies are on alert and terrorist activities are being monitored.

In Kerala, rain continues. Incessant rain in south and central Kerala has brought flood and landslides in many parts. So far, 21 people have died and more than 20 people are said to be missing.

Kerala floods kill 21 people and injure 20 so far

The government has achieved a major milestone in preventing corona infection in Jammu and Kashmir. In Jammu and Kashmir, the first dose of 100 per cent vaccine has been administered to all people above the age of 18 years. According to reports, 34,272 people have been administered the first dose last Thursday, while 47,957 people have administered the second dose. With this, more than 134 lakh 94 thousand people have been vaccinated so far across the state. 100% immunization has been done in Anannag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Poonch, Samba, Ramban, Doda and Reasi Udhampur, Kishtwar, Kupwara. Tell us that 100 per cent immunization has taken place in the entire State in the age group of 18 years. Razia, a healthworker, said she has not taken a single day off for the last five months and has so far administered 30,000 vaccines. Our U-Centre has administered two lakh vaccines and I have personally vaccinated about 30,000 people in the last five months, Razia said.
Health workers in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir have also celebrated 100 per cent vaccination in Jammu and Kashmir and 100 crore doses in the country. The programme was held at Urban PHC Shastri Nagar in Jammu last Thursday after 100 per cent of vaccination was completed. Health Director Dr. Renu Sharma was the Chief Guest. Chief Health Officer Dr Jp Singh, Deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Poonam Sethi, District Immunization Officer Dr Ambika were also present. Health workers were felicitated and certificates have also been issued to them among the health workers. During the event, Dr. J.P. Singh said that 100 per cent people in Jammu district have been given the first dose and more than 50 per cent have been administered the second dose so far. He asked the health workers to prepare themselves to immunize children between the ages of two and 18 now. He has asked all the people to follow the SOP besides taking another dose. Moreover, celebrations have also been held in several districts of Kashmir.
In Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists have not ceased their nefarious movements on Monday, the day of Holi. In fact, a meeting of the councillors was continuing at the municipal office at Sopore in Baramulla district on Monday afternoon. The brigadier level officers of The Indian and Pakistani Army have held a brigadier level meeting at Poonch-Rawalakot crossing last Friday. Talks have been held to adhere to the recent agreement on cease-fire on the Line of Control (Loc). In a tweet, the army said, a brigade commander level flag meeting was held between the Indian and Pakistan Army at Poonch-Rawalakot crossing point on 26th March. During the meeting, the commanders of the two countries mutually agreed that local people or their cattle living in areas near the Loc sometimes reach the Loc. It is necessary to control it. There should not be any shelling on the part of the armies of the two countries without any reason. The Indian Army has also categorically stated to the Pakistani military authorities that infiltration along the Loc will not be tolerated. The Indian Army said, if any person tries to enter the Indian territory, strict action will be taken against him.
According to sources, india-Pakistan gates were opened on the Meeting of Chakka da Bagh on the Indo-Pak Loc, about 10 kms away from Poonch last Friday afternoon. However, the army chief also said that the entire terror structure, including the launch pad of terrorists on pakistan side, still exists.
An order has been issued to unfurl the national flag on all government offices and buildings in Jammu and Kashmir. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had recently given directions to unfurl the tricolour. After which, raghav Langar of Jammu last Friday has asked the district Deputy Commissioners and hod of government departments to ensure that the tricolour are unfurled on government buildings within 15 days. The process will be implemented under the flag code of India. The national anthem will be ensured in every programme of the lieutenant governor.
Let us say that the national flag and the state flag were planted on selected large government buildings including the civic secretariats of Jammu and Kashmir. With the repeal of article 370, the Constitution and flag of the state are also over. Since then, the tricolour are being planted on selected buildings including central public sector undertakings, secretariats, but most of the buildings could not be provided with national flag. But now, after the order of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the work is going on fast. Their programmes, even in the press dialogue, are performed at the time of commencement and completion of the national anthem. In this order, the lieutenant Governor had asked all government buildings in the recent past to ensure the system of unfurling the national flag. Now, the Divisional Commissioner of Jammu has issued orders to all the district officers in this regard.
There is good news for the youth waiting for government jobs in Jammu and Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued advertisements of 2311 posts of seven departments. Out of which certificates have been issued to 32, 31353 applicants.
An international team of 10 experts led by the World Health Organization has reached China's Wuhan on Thursday. The WHO team has also raised questions over the delayed permission for the tour. China has been consistently challenging the claims of the virus launch in Wuhan. China has been consistently rejecting the notion of the introduction of corona virus from the animal market in Wuhan. This market of animal meat in Wuhan has been closed since the beginning of last year. The CDC deputy director of The Chinese, Feng Jixian, said that they do not have the answers to these questions, the carrier of the corona virus or how the virus reached humans from animals. He said Chinese medical experts will help who experts in their efforts to find out the source of the virus.
